I (Cory Hawkvelt) am a career nerd with a passion for Open Source cloud infrastructure.

Specialsing in Linux, OpenStack, Ceph, Ansible and Open networking(Cumulus, SONiC, Openswitch etc) I have worked with organisations all across the globe consulting on projects large and small.

Hawkless or Hawkvelt?! Well.. both actually! Back in 2017 I married the love of my life and together we agreed we would BOTH change our surnames as to not give up our connection to our families but to also enable us to both share a lastname with our (future) kids. So we took a combination from my lastname 'Hawkless' and her last name 'Lintvelt' and we came up with 'Hawkvelt', so we both formally and legally changed our names and our 2 beautiful children were born under the new family name :)
